The hallmark design of this series has everything one would want in a year-round retreat: easy elegance that focuses on privacy and enhances its natural setting. During the planning stage, a key priority was to create a design that captured the breathtaking views. To accommodate this request, the Retreat – measuring just over 2,000 square feet – has no fewer than 25 large windows on the upper levels. The post and beam construction allows for flexible room space, creating an open concept plan with privacy where it is warranted. In addition, the Retreat has distinctive appeal for every season. In the warmer months, time can be spent napping on the covered porch, while in the cooler months, shorter days can be spent reading a favorite novel in front of the fire. |
