In the Sitka, with its distinctive blue roof, Linwood created a design that was far from conventional. The peaked, blue metal roof is recessed on each side to incorporate two panels of skylights. The strong presence of glass, also utilized in the large, angled prow, showcases the beauty of the landscape. The spiral staircase is a distinctive feature of this unique plan and provides access to the bedroom loft, while keeping the living space to a maximum. |
